Musical Influences.
I have many artists that I like, and it depends on my mood as to what music I listen to. Some include; Diesel, Matchbox 20, Pearl Jam, Nickelback, Live, John Mayer, Michelle Branch, Mr Big, Kings of Leon and many more. I don’t mind a bit of pop music for long car trips and old nineties hits occasionally.
What type of Guitar and Amp you own?
I own a 720FGS Yamaha acoustic steel string guitar. No amplifier, as yet...!!
What type of equipment would you like to have?
I need lots of stands! I would like to own an amp one day for when I play with friends, but I have not really had the chance to get together with anyone yet.
How long have you been playing the guitar?
I started teaching myself in January 2009 but didn’t get very far doing that, just single notes and songs like Aura Lee and the four chords G, Em, Am and D. Then I began taking lessons with Zane in April 2010 and I am really enjoying learning to play the correct way.
Brief Bio:
I have always wanted to play the acoustic guitar. I played the organ when I was in primary school and was accepted into junior band in high school to play the trumpet but money was always an issue. My mum owns a Fender electric guitar and my Uncles used to play in a band and currently own a lot of musical equipment. I have always been passionate about music and I believe you are never too old to start!
My musical ambitions and goals:
I simply enjoy the sound of the acoustic. It makes me feel revived and it is very relaxing to play. It keeps my mind busy and is a good way to de-stress. I would like to be able to play a few songs and sing along, although I don’t really think I can sing very well. I will have to start practising! I hope that I can pass my talent and passion for music onto my children, and share the joy of playing with friends and family!

Musical Influences.
Some of my favourite bands are Taylor Swift, Michael Jackson and Selina Gomez.
What type of Guitar and Amp you own?
At the moment I own an Acoustic Guitar with no amplifier.
What type of equipment would you like to have?
I would like to get a guitar stand and a better guitar, (with a thinner neck).
How long have you been playing the guitar?
I’ve been coming to see Zane for approximately three months, and am really enjoying my lessons.
Brief Bio:
I am ten years old and I love playing the guitar and reading. I also like looking after animals and listening to music. I would like to become a Vet when I grow up or a Marine Biologist.

I would like to be able to play the guitar really well.

Musical Influences.
I enjoy all styles of music ranging from Dance to Blues, Rock to Metal, some of the favourites are: U2, Bon Jovi, The Killers, Greenday, Keith Urban, Collective Soul, Matchbox 20, Goo Goo Dolls. These bands / artists have all played a part in the direction I would like my music to take.
What type of Guitar and Amp you own?
I own a Yamaha Pacifica 112J electric, Washburn 12 string acoustic and a Line 6 Spider Jam Amp.
What type of equipment would you like to have?
I would like to one day get a Fender Stratocaster, Fender Telecaster an Ibanez RG2620 and a Badcat Amp.
How long have you been playing the guitar?
I started playing guitar when I was in primary school but never pursued it seriously, until 2008. I have always wanted to play the guitar properly, so I am very happy that I have come to Zane for some professional guitar tuition. I am really enjoying my lessons, and improving each week..!!
Brief Bio:
I'm a sound engineer and producer, I also sing and write my own music.
My musical ambitions and goals:
I would like to form an alternative rock band with a view to recording and gigging in the future would be awesome.
