Terms & Conditions

Just a few House-keeping rules apply:

  1. Please show up on time or give us a buzz if you are running late. This is a courtesy to the next student, and that could be you!
  2. To avoid any unwanted or unnecessary costs, remember to give 24 hours notice prior to any cancellation. (Please telephone all enquiries or messages. Do Not Text or E-mail any messages)
  3. Same day cancellations will incur the cost of the lesson (discretion of Zane’s Guitar Tuition).
  4. All timeslots at Zane’s Guitar Tuition are contractually booked, so you could also risk losing your allocated time to someone else. Protect your time-slot!
  5. Lessons are booked and paid for on a week to week basis, you may however choose to pay for lessons in *advance.
  6. Please be aware that you may lose your time-slot if you do not attend your lesson in a two week period consecutively, as there are a number of people on a waiting list. You may however choose to pay for lessons missed in advance and protect your time-slot.
  7. Please do not ask for lessons on credit, as refusal may offend.
  8. All photos taken by or submitted to Zane's Guitar Tuition website remain the property of Zane's Guitar Tuition.
  9. For the younger students, Zane likes to encourage one Parent / Guardian to be present during their lesson. This will 'most times', benefit the child by supporting them with your presence. On other occasions it may be more of a distraction to the childs learning outcome if he or she is asked to 'peform' in front of their Parent / Guardian. Each child is different, so different learning methods may need to be discussed for maximum success.
  10. No responsibility or liabilty will be taken by Zane's Guitar Tuition for any accidents involving, 'Slips or Trips' by any person/s who enter the Zane's Guitar Tuition premises. By accessing the services of Zane's Guitar Tuition you are agreeing to take full responsibility for yourself and your guests, and for any and all personal musical equipment bought, or left on the Zane's Guitar Tuition premises. Every care is taken for your personal comfort, and professional care given to your equipment, but no liability will be taken by Zane's Guitar Tuition, for any aforementioned accidents or damaged equipment.
  11. Zane's Guitar Tuition does not allow any person/s to just sit in on lessons, as it is a distraction to the student, and can detract from a successful learning outcome.

Normal Rate - 11.am - 5.pm week-days (regular weekly basis)

$25.00 1/2 Hour
$50.00 Full Hour

After hours & casual rate - Applies before 11.am and after 6.pm week-days, other times by arrangement.

(Please note that a casual rate also applies to intermittent irregular lessons)

$27.00 1/2 hour
$55.00 Full hour

*Pre-paid lessons are non-refundable.

 

Holding On To Your Valued Timeslot

Students who are going away on holidays or taking a break, but still want to maintain their timeslot, can do so by way of paying a 'holding fee' of $25.00 per week for your hourly lessons missed, or $12.00 per week for your half hourly lessons missed.

This is a very popular way of guaranteeing your same timeslot for when you get back. However if you do not have a preference to a particular time, Zane's Guitar Tuition can still fit you in.
